That depends on what the camera finds, which is why every project starts with an inspection you watch with us. Our rule is simple: coat where you can, replace where you must. Epoxy brush coating restores pipes that are structurally sound but corroded or leaking. Full replacement — by tunneling or excavation — is the answer when a line has lost its slope or its structure. Cured-in-place lining still has its place too: we use it for targeted short-section spot repairs and for runs where slope and structure are confirmed good.

The Picote Brush Coating system applies a measured layer of epoxy resin to the inside of a cleaned pipe using rotating brushes, building a new corrosion-proof wall inside the old host pipe. The coating is camera-verified between coats, and the final result is a smooth, sealed pipe — without demolition, and without pulling a one-size liner through a line that doesn't need one.

The coating we install is NSF/ANSI 61 certified for potable water in pipes 4" and larger with a white final coat, and it is ASTM tested. That certification is the industry benchmark for materials that contact drinking water.

Cast iron, PVC, concrete, clay, and copper — in diameters from 1.25" up to 12". That covers everything from a condo drain stack to a main building sewer.

Service is typically restored about 4 hours after the final coat. Residents stay home throughout the work — no move-outs, no torn-up floors.

A 10-year warranty is available: the coating material carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty, and we offer workmanship coverage in 1, 5, and 10-year tiers, in writing, before work begins.

Separate from the warranty term, the design life of the epoxy coating is 30–50 years. The warranty is the promise we put in writing; the design life is what the material is engineered to do.

Where a line runs under the slab, tunneling under the home usually beats jackhammering through your floors; where the line is accessible, conventional excavation is straightforward. Either way you get the camera evidence, the reasoning, and flat pricing for each option.

Yes — where it's the right tool. We install targeted short-section spot repairs and line runs whose slope and structure the camera has confirmed. What we don't do is sell a full-length liner as the answer to every problem: a liner installed over a bad slope or a collapsing pipe locks the defect in.
