Pipe Coating Warranty

1. Manufacturer Material Warranty (Picote Solutions Inc.)

The Picote DC1000E 100% Solids Epoxy Resin is warranted by the manufacturer for ten (10) years against product failure — cracking, peeling, or delaminating — when installed by a certified installer and documented in accordance with Picote's requirements. This coverage is provided at no additional charge on every Kyle Plumbing coating installation.

The manufacturer warranty covers the material only. It does not cover any aspect of installation or labor.

2. Kyle Plumbing Workmanship Warranty

Kyle Plumbing warrants the workmanship of our installation — proper preparation, application, coat coverage, and curing — for the term of the coverage plan purchased:

If a covered installation defect is found within the applicable term, Kyle Plumbing will repair or re-coat the affected section at no charge to you. This is your sole and exclusive remedy.

Kyle Club Premier members receive a 2-year workmanship term in place of the standard 1 year (standard terms & conditions apply). Extended 5- and 10-year plans are separate paid products.

3. Conditions — Required for Warranty to Remain Valid

This warranty is valid only where all of the following are met:

1. Certified installation. Work performed by a Picote-certified Kyle Plumbing technician.
2. Proper preparation. The pipe was cleaned, descaled, and dried by Kyle Plumbing prior to coating. Extended (5- and 10-year) coverage requires that cleaning/descaling be performed by Kyle Plumbing.
3. Coating to specification. A minimum of three (3) coats applied, per Picote's specification for the pipe diameter and intended use.
4. Complete documentation. A Picote Quality Control Form and CCTV footage are completed and retained for the job — including post-cleaning footage, footage of each applied coat, and post-coating footage. This documentation is required to make any material claim with the manufacturer.
5. Compatible service conditions. The line is used within the chemical and temperature limits for which the DC1000E system is rated.
6. No alteration by others. No connections, repairs, or modifications are made to the coated section by anyone other than Kyle Plumbing after installation.

4. Exclusions — Not Covered

Neither warranty covers failure, damage, or loss caused by:

• Fire, war, earthquake, ground movement, flooding, or other acts of God
• Negligence, abuse, misuse, or intentional damage
• Alteration, modification, or repair of the coated section by others, including but not limited to drain cabling, rodding, hydro jetting, or mechanical cleaning of the coated pipe by any party other than Kyle Plumbing II, Inc.
• Harsh chemical drain cleaners, or chemicals or sewer gases not typically found in normal sewer/drain systems
• External damage, ground shifting, or structural collapse of the host pipe
• Defects in the design of any pump station, lift station, chamber, or structure
• Failure to properly inspect, service, or maintain the system
• Pre-existing conditions or any portion of the pipe outside the coated section
• Foreign objects, blockages, or root intrusion originating from a source outside the coated section

In no event is Kyle Plumbing or Picote Solutions Inc. liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective coated section.

5. Making a Claim

Contact Kyle Plumbing II, Inc. to report a suspected defect. For a material claim, the Quality Control Form and CCTV documentation will be presented to Picote Solutions Inc. as required under the manufacturer warranty.
